Service-learning engages students in projects that serve the community while building social, civic, and academic skills. All CPS students are required to earn 40 Service Learning Hours in order to graduate from high school. Here you will find some resources to help.

Teens for Jeans 2011!

Did you know that 1 in 3 homeless people is under the age of 18? Let's Do Something! Manley is partnering with Aeropostale to hold a Jeans drive. Please bring in your gently worn jeans and drop off at various locations throughout the school. Service learning hours are also available for helping with this project and learning more about youth homelessness.

Be Green: Manley Recycles!

Help the Manley Recycling Club during your lunch periods. See Ms. Abesamis in room 102 during your lunch period for more information.
